Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant trounces Deer Lakes

The Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA), 55-25 in Monday's league test.
The Vikings (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulldogs go into the WPIAL 3A 3 test with a 14-1 record. In their last test, Shady Side Academy walloped Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA), 67-26, in a league test.
The Lancers now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Apollo Ridge for a WPIAL 3A 3 test on Thursday, February 2. Deer Lakes will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 47-40 league loss to Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 14-3.
