Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD), 48-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glenelg upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Long Reach (Columbia, MD) to clash with the Lightning in a Howard County bout on Friday, February 3. The Lightning go into the bout with a record of 3-12.

Next up, the clash with the Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Marriotts Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Lightning go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 38-24 league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD).
