In Monday's non-league outing, the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN), by a count of 71-55.

The Komets (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Tigers go into the AAA Section 1 outing with a 16-2 record. In their last outing, Stewartville defeated Red Wing (Red Wing, MN), 68-52, in a league outing.
