Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN), 60-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kasson-Mantorville upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Komets host Hastings (Hastings, MN) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Cougars play the Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Thursday, January 5. Zumbrota-Mazeppa will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 74-48 non-league loss to Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN).
