Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME), 58-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Oceanside upgrades its record to 14-0 on the season. The Mariners host Belfast (Belfast, ME) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Belfast lost 44-24 in their recent league bout against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Leavitt will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 85-32 non-league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME).
