In Monday's league battle, the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Santa Monica Vikings.
The Mustangs (20-3) will now prepare for their battle against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks come into the Bay battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, Redondo Union nudged Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Vikings (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Culver City (Culver City, CA). The Centaurs come into the Bay battle with a 12-7 record. In their last battle, Culver City was nudged by Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 5-2, in a league battle.
