In their next game, the Quips face the Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 game, on Friday, February 2. Aliquippa will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Flames enter the game with a 15-3 record after their 75-68 league win over Shenango (New Castle, PA).

With the defeat, Sewickley Academy moves to 10-7 on the year. The host Laurel (New Castle, PA) to face the Spartans in a WPIAL 2A 1 game on Friday, February 2. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 2-16. Laurel lost 65-54 in their recent non-league game against Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA)
