The Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) basketball felled the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), 65-48 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (14-9) will now prepare for their test against DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Stags go into the Washington Catholic test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, DeMatha was beaten by Gonzaga (Washington, DC), 69-60, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop McNamara for a Washington Catholic test on Friday, February 2. St. Mary's Ryken will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 77-67 non-league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-9.
