Pawnee Heights Tigers (Rozel, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS), 65-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pawnee Heights upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to South Gray (Montezuma, KS) to play the Rebels in a Southern Plains-Iroquois bout on Friday, February 2. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 13-1. South Gray won 72-62 in their recent non-league bout against Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS)

Next up, the Blue Jays play the Otis-Bison Cougars (Otis, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Ashland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 71-31 non-league loss to Central Plains (Claflin, KS).
