In Tuesday's league outing, the Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA), by a count of 50-48.
The Polar Bears (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, Gettysburg held off Northeastern (Manchester, PA), 54-45, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 13-6 record. They play next when they host James Buchanan for a Mid-Penn - Colonial outing on Friday, February 2. Big Spring will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 54-46 league win over West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-14.
