The Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA), 63-45 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (8-1) will now prepare for their test against James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA). The Rockets go into the Mid-Penn - Colonial test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, James Buchanan notched a victory over West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA), 65-49, in a league test.

The Polar Bears now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Gettysburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Northern York will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 64-59 league loss to Kennard-Dale (Fawn Grove, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-3.
