In Tuesday's league outing, the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) basketball squad felled the visiting Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA), by a margin of 62-52.
The Herons (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates go into the AA Region 3 outing with a 1-21 record. In their last outing, Appling County was beaten by Toombs County (Lyons, GA), 81-45, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they travel to Toombs County for a AA Region 3 outing on Friday, February 2. Tattnall County will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 81-45 league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-2.
