In Friday's league outing, the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) basketball squad beat the host Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA), by a count of 54-46.

The Herons (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates go into the AA Region 3 outing with a 0-14 record. In their last outing, Appling County was topped by Bacon County (Alma, GA), 48-45, in a non-league outing.
