North Carolina High School Basketball - R-S Central overwhelmed by Brevard

The Brevard Blue Devils basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers to 48 in the Blue Devils league victory on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheville Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Brevard will battle a Lions team coming off a 76-29 league win over Carolina Day (Asheville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 14-8.

The Hilltoppers (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Wolverines come into the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Polk County was routed by Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 86-42, in a league contest.
