With the victory, California improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Trojans host Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA) to play the Rockets in a WPIAL 1A 2 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Jefferson-Morgan lost 58-55 in their recent league battle against Monessen (Monessen, PA)

The Maples (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Geibel Catholic (Connellsville, PA). The Gators come into the WPIAL 1A 2 battle with a 0-19 record. In their last battle, Geibel Catholic dropped by West Greene (Waynesburg, PA), 70-53, in a league battle.
