The Decatur Eagles basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the visiting Castleberry Lions to 31 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Krum for a 4A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, February 2. Decatur will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 67-39 league win over Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 27-3.

The Lions (8-21) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Bullfrogs come into the 4A Region I District 8 contest with a 2-21 record. In their last contest, Lake Worth was routed by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX), 62-37, in a league contest.
