In Tuesday's league outing, the Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD), by a count of 61-23.

The Cougars (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Williamsport (Williamsport, MD). The Wildcats go into the CMC outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Williamsport was crushed by Middletown (Middletown, MD), 80-53, in a league outing.

The Blazers now hold a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Mountain Ridge for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 31. Clear Spring will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 66-45 league loss to Allegany (Cumberland, MD). The Miners record now stands at 8-7.
