North Carolina High School Basketball - Clover Garden School trounced by Southern Wake Academy

In Tuesday's league match, the host Southern Wake Academy Lions basketball team scored a decisive 75-25 triumph over the Clover Garden School Grizzlies.

In their next game, the Lions face the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel match, on Wednesday, January 31. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record. The Aviators enter the match with a 0-10 record after their 55-30 league loss to Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC).

With the defeat, Clover Garden School moves to 7-12 on the year. The Grizzlies host River Mill (Graham, NC) to face the Jaguars in a 1A Central Tar Heel match on Friday, February 2.
