North Carolina High School Basketball - Clover Garden School overwhelmed by Southern Wake Academy

The Clover Garden School Grizzlies basketball team (Burlington, NC), was routed 74-24 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC)

The Lions now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. Southern Wake Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 87-32 non-league win over Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC). The Knights record now stands at 14-5.

The Grizzlies (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against River Mill (Graham, NC). The Jaguars come into the 1A Central Tar Heel battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, River Mill trounced Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC), 43-40, in a league battle.
