Highland Christian Academy EAGLES (Valdosta, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Community Christian Academy Eagles (Adel, GA), 42-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highland Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The EAGLES host Hamilton County (Jasper, FL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Hamilton County lost 70-40 in their recent non-league bout against Madison County (Madison, FL)

Next up, the Eagles play the First Academy Lions (Douglas, GA) in a GAPPS - I-A Region 4B bout, on Friday, February 2. Community Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 43-42 league win over Colquitt Christian Academy (Moultrie, GA).
