Kentucky High School Basketball - Frederick Douglass routs Sayre

In Tuesday's league outing, the Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY), by a margin of 78-50.

The Broncos (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Scott County (Georgetown, KY). The Cardinals go into the District 42 outing with a 7-15 record. In their last outing, Scott County smashed Henry Clay (Lexington, KY), 67-62, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bryan Station for a District 42 outing on Friday, February 2. Sayre will clash with a Defenders squad coming off a 73-46 non-league win over Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Defenders record now stands at 18-2.
