In their next game, the Spartans face the Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) in a District 42 game, on Saturday, February 10. Sayre will attempt to move on its 16-8 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 18-5 record after their 63-58 league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY).

With the defeat, Frederick Douglass moves to 15-9 on the year. The Broncos host Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league outing on Friday, February 9. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a record of 20-5. Woodford County won 66-44 in their recent non-league outing against Lafayette (Lexington, KY)
