Maryland High School Basketball - St. James crushes Georgetown Day

St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), 63-42 in a league bout.
With the win, St. James upgrades its record to 5-13 on the season. The Saints host Maret (Washington, DC) to play the Frogs in a DCSAA AA bout on Thursday, February 1. The Frogs go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Maret won 74-67 in their recent league bout against Potomac School (McLean, VA)
Next up, the Mighty Hoppers play the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic bout, on Thursday, February 1. Georgetown Day will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 62-60 non-league win over Potomac School (McLean, VA).
