With the victory, Grovetown improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host Brunswick (Brunswick, GA) to confront the Pirates in a AAAAAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Brunswick won 63-58 in their recent league challenge against Effingham County (Springfield, GA)

Next up, the Panthers confront the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Lakeside will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-20 record after their 88-47 league loss to Evans (Evans, GA).
