Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Woburn Memorial Tanners (Woburn, MA), 58-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lexington upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Reading Memorial (Reading, MA) to play the Rockets in a Middlesex bout on Friday, February 2. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Reading Memorial lost 66-43 in their recent league bout against Belmont (Belmont, MA)

Next up, the Tanners play the Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA) in a Middlesex bout, on Friday, February 2. Woburn Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Red & Black come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 67-51 league loss to Arlington (Arlington, MA).
