In Tuesday's league outing, the Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA), by a count of 82-42.

The Lancers (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Tigers go into the Heartland III outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Southern Columbia Area smashed Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA), 61-58, in a non-league outing.

The RED TORNADOES now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Annville-Cleona for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. Mount Carmel will clash with a Dutchmen squad coming off a 70-50 league loss to Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA). The Dutchmen record now stands at 5-9.
