Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), 48-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to McKinley (Sebring, OH) to play the Trojans in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Friday, February 2. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-13. McKinley lost 75-28 in their recent league bout against Springfield (New Middletown, OH)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Friday, February 2. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 62-41 league win over Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH).
