Ohio High School Basketball - McDonald thwarted by Western Reserve

The McDonald Blue Devils basketball team (McDonald, OH), was toppled 38-27 in Friday's league battle with the host Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH)

The Blue Devils now possess a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host McKinley for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet battle on Tuesday, January 9. Western Reserve will confront a Trojans team coming off a 61-23 league loss to Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 3-7.

The Blue Devils (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Waterloo (Atwater, OH). The Vikings come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Waterloo beat Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH), 50-22, in a league battle.
