The Nocona Indians basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Seymour Panthers to 34 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windthorst for a 2A Region II District 9 contest on Friday, February 2. Nocona will meet a Trojans team coming off a 52-35 league win over Petrolia (Petrolia, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 17-10.

The Panthers (11-15) will now prepare for their contest against Archer City (Archer City, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region II District 9 contest with a 9-17 record. In their last contest, Archer City nudged Olney (Olney, TX), 38-31, in a league contest.
