The Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) basketball crushed the visiting West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC), 77-31 in Tuesday's league test.

The Hornets (17-3) will now prepare for their test against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats go into the 1A/2A Central Carolina test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, South Davidson was trounced by Lexington (Lexington, NC), 78-59, in a league test.

The Dragons now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Thomasville for a 1A/2A Central Carolina test on Friday, February 2. West Davidson will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-33 non-league win over Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.
