The Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored 82 points and held the host West Davidson Dragons to 45 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chambers for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Salisbury will meet a Cougars team coming off a 84-72 non-league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, West Davidson moves to 4-5 on the year. The Dragons host Central Davidson (Lexington, NC) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Thursday, December 21. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 10-0. Central Davidson won 68-43 in their recent non-league match against Trinity (Trinity, NC)
