The Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL), 65-48 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Addison (Addison, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Addison notched a victory over Curry (Jasper, AL), 60-54, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-20 record. They play next when they travel to Colbert County for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Sheffield will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 69-59 non-league loss to Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Indians record now stands at 15-8.
