The Wyatt Chaparrals (Fort Worth, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), 47-39 in Tuesday's league test.

The Chaparrals (9-18) will now prepare for their test against Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX). The Parrots go into the 5A Region I District 6 test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Polytechnic went down by Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX), 82-26, in a league test.

The Scorpions now sport a 5-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everman for a 5A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, February 2. South Hills will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-35 league win over North Side (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-7.
