The Washington Academy Raiders routed the visiting Woodland Dragons basketball team by a final score of 80-17 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Raiders face the Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) in a B North game, on Thursday, February 1. Washington Academy will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 7-9 record after their 35-31 league loss to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).
The Dragons now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Penobscot Valley for a C North test on Saturday, February 3. Woodland will encounter a Howlers squad coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Howlers record now stands at 8-8.
