The King George Foxes (King George, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA), 45-38 in Tuesday's league test.

The Foxes (13-2) will now prepare for their test against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets go into the Battlefield test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, James Monroe was tipped by Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 68-65, in a league test.

The Cavaliers now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Chancellor for a Battlefield test on Friday, February 2. Caroline will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 53-20 league win over Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 16-2.
