In Tuesday's league outing, the Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA) basketball squad felled the host Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), by a count of 53-37.

With the win, Thomas Walker upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA) to play the Titans in a Cumberland bout on Friday, February 2. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Twin Springs lost 60-46 in their recent league bout against Eastside (Coeburn, VA)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA) in a Cumberland bout, on Thursday, February 1. Castlewood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record.
