The Grand Saline Indians basketball team (Grand Saline, TX), was overwhelmed 69-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Commerce Tigers (Commerce, TX)
The Tigers now possess a 26-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rains for a 3A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, February 2. Commerce will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 69-28 league win over Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 29-2.
The Indians (16-12) will now prepare for their battle against Edgewood (Edgewood, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region II District 12 battle with a 23-8 record. In their last battle, Edgewood trounced Chisum (Paris, TX), 55-28, in a league battle.
