In Friday's league match, the visiting Commerce Tigers basketball team scored a decisive 51-30 triumph over the Grand Saline Indians.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 match, on Tuesday, January 9. Commerce will attempt to better on its 22-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 23-2 record after their 49-9 non-league win over Wills Point (Wills Point, TX).
With the defeat, Grand Saline moves to 15-6 on the year. The Indians travel to Edgewood (Edgewood, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 12 match on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 18-7. Edgewood won 50-41 in their recent league match against Chisum (Paris, TX)
