Cross Roads Bobcats (Malakoff, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kerens Bobcats (Kerens, TX), 55-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Cross Roads upgrades its record to 20-10 on the season. The Bobcats travel to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX) to clash with the Flyers in a 2A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, February 2. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 21-8. LaPoynor won 72-32 in their recent league bout against Cayuga (Cayuga, TX)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 bout, on Friday, February 2. Kerens will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 73-29 league loss to Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX).
