In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), by a margin of 53-12.
The Tigers (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates go into the C North outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Piscataquis was trounced by Greenville (Greenville, ME), 36-33, in a non-league outing.
The Minutemen now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Penquis Valley for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 31. Stearns will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 45-22 non-league loss to Hermon (Hermon, ME). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.
