Georgia High School Basketball - Gainesville ripped by North Forsyth

The North Forsyth Raiders basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Gainesville Red Elephants to 29 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 23-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apalachee for a AAAAAA Region 8 contest on Tuesday, February 6. North Forsyth will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 42-32 league loss to Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-14.
Next up, the Red Elephants play the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Gainesville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 40-33 league win over Shiloh (Snellville, GA).
