The Prairie City Panthers topped the host Grant Union Prospectors basketball team by a final score of 37-27 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Crane Mustangs (Crane, OR) in a 1A High Desert game, on Saturday, February 3. Prairie City will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 20-0 record after their 81-37 league win over Adrian (Adrian, OR).

With the defeat, Grant Union moves to 1-21 on the year. The Prospectors travel to Stanfield (Stanfield, OR) to face the Tigers in a 2A Blue Mountain game on Friday, February 2. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 12-7. Stanfield won 76-22 in their recent league game against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR)
