Georgia High School Basketball - Howard ripped by Griffin

January 30, 2024: Griffin, GA 30224

The Griffin Bears basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Howard Huskies to 31 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Griffin will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 71-28 non-league loss to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-17.

The Huskies (4-18) will now prepare for their contest against Perry (Perry, GA). The Panthers enter the AAAA Region 2 contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Perry was routed by West Laurens (Dexter, GA), 49-48, in a league contest.
