Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA), 69-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Turner Ashby upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Knights host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Valley bout on Friday, February 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-18. Rockbridge County lost 51-21 in their recent league bout against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA)

Next up, the Blue Streaks play the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) in a Valley bout, on Friday, February 2. Harrisonburg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 67-31 league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
