Nebraska High School Basketball - Rawlins County edges Hitchcock County

The Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS) basketball nipped the host Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE), 39-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Buffaloes (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Hill City (Hill City, KS). The Ringnecks go into the non-league test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, Hill City was tipped by Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS), 43-17, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Maywood/Hayes Center for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Hitchcock County will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 56-50 non-league win over Hershey (Hershey, NE). The Wolves record now stands at 16-2.
