Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 50-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Stevenson upgrades its record to 23-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to play the Zee-Bees in a North Suburban bout on Saturday, February 3. The Zee-Bees come into the bout with a record of 3-23. Zion-Benton lost 55-36 in their recent non-league bout against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL)

Next up, the Scouts play the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Lake Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 6-20 record after their 40-35 league win over Round Lake (Round Lake, IL).
