Pecatonica Indians (Pecatonica, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL), 46-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pecatonica upgrades its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Durand (Durand, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a Northwest Upstate Illini - North bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-14. Durand lost 65-32 in their recent league bout against Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - North bout, on Thursday, February 1. Lena-Winslow will attempt to upgrade on its 16-9 season record.
