The Pecatonica Indians basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Lena-Winslow Panthers to 35 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Durand for a Northwest Upstate Illini - North contest on Tuesday, January 9. Pecatonica will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-26 league loss to Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-8.

The Panthers (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL). The Wolves enter the Northwest Upstate Illini - North contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Pearl City was nudged by Orangeville (Orangeville, IL), 57-24, in a league contest.
