St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI), 56-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Catherine of Siena Academy upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The host Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI) to play the Ventures in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Ventures come into the bout with a record of 5-8. Bishop Foley won 42-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI) in a Catholic C-D D bout, on Friday, February 2. Lutheran North will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Monarchs come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 63-13 league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI).
