Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mt. Enterprise Wildcats (Mt. Enterprise, TX), 37-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Overton upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Cushing (Cushing, TX) to clash with the Bearkats in a 2A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bearkats go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Cushing won 47-28 in their recent league bout against New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX)
